Frankly, I find the concept uninspired and bland. Ironically, it also felt very disjointed, like there is no clear theme. It’s like someone found things that are vaguely queer and “interesting” and threw them at the wall to see what stuck. It sits in an awkward stage between horror and camp unable to find footing in both or either. It might be free, but you’ll waste a lot of time learning the system and ultimately feel disappointed when you play. The artwork is incredible, and it seems like a valiant first attempt at game design. Keep trying.

Hello! Thank you for playing the game! This version was written in a time crunch and I totally understand how it struggled to find footing. Have been working on a polished version with less clutter and more direction (and more amazing art!) that will be releasing on Kickstarter this upcoming week! Check it out at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/corazoninteractive/the-devils-lounge ! I will be leaving the previous versions for free as artifacts, but they were definitely written under a "just get it done" mentality. Hope you enjoy future updates and that you're willing to give it another try!
